The operation of the MicFil Ultra Fine Filters are similar to a human kidney and gradually clean the oil as it passes through your system. The MicFil Filters for fuel are placed in the fuel line and filters the fuel “full flow”. Most filters are capable of filtering to roughly 2-5 μm, in accordance with ISO and NAS standards. However, studies have shown that 70% of the contaminants in oil and fuel are less than 1 μm. Our unique filtration system can capture these harmful microparticles because it filters particles as small as 0.5 to 0.1 μm. Not only that, but it also filters water and salt, preventing oxidation and corrosion. Although our focus is on microscopic filtration, the capacity of our system is far from microscopic. Before a replacement filter is required, the filter can enclose up to 1900 g of microparticles, up to 2 liters of water or a combination of both.

UNIQUE OPERATION

The MicFil ultra-fine filter in the bypass of your hydraulic system has a filter performance of 0.5 μm and therefore offers a continuous cleaning process of the hydraulic oil and the absorption of water. The filter reduces wear on valves, cylinders and pistons and therefore minimizes the risk of malfunctions.
