CLASSIFICATION

The MicFil ultrafine filter housing is made of stainless steel or aluminum and meets the requirements of the IACS, TUV, RINA, UMTEC and Bureau Veritas.

FILTERELEMENT

The MicFil filter element consists of a tear resistant fiber net with braided cellulose fibers of optimum quality. The filter performance is up to 0.5 micron. The filter can absorb a lot of dirt and has a long lifespan.

Maintenance of hydraulic oil is often neglected. Regular maintenance of oil is a crucial factor for faultless operation. The components in a modern hydraulic unit glide on an oil film of less than 10 μm.

This fine oil film guarantees the smooth operation of the system, however it requires clean oil.

The micfil ultrafine filter in the bypass flow has a filter performance of 0.5 μm and provides a continuous cleaning process of hydraulic oils and absorption of water. The filter reduces wear on valves, cylinders and pistons and minimizes the risk of breakdowns.

The micfil Water Separators (WS)

Will remove free water and solid particulates from even the dirtiest, most contaminated fuel. When fitted in conjunction with a conventional fuel water separator, they will work together to ensure that your engine is protected from harmful water and particles. The WS acts as the ‘first line of defence’ removing slugs of water and dirt, sludge and grit allowing the filter/separator to filter the fuel unhindered.

Point of use filtration ensures that the fluid going into use is of free contaminants that may have been picked up in storage or final transfer. These filters allow for minimal effect on flow, but will have quality clean fuel going into each application that will achieve maximum performance and eliminate system failures due to fluid contamination.

Fixed systems are ideal for a number of applications including:

1. Bunkering services, refineries, fuel and oil distribution.

3.Fuel farms and storage installations, particularly in areas where fuel is routinely contaminated.

2.On sites with large turn-over in fluids. Also large stationary engines and generators.

Oil changes and disposal are two of the weakest points in the life cycle of oil. In some cases it can lead to leakages or spills and contamination of the soil or water.

This contamination stays in the ground for many years or seeps into the ground water.
